Opened in November 2019 following a successful crowd funding campaign, our Onehunga restaurant is the heart of Everybody Eats. As our flagship location, it’s situated in a vibrant, diverse community in reach of the city center and bustling South and West Auckland. Onehunga’s unique mix of people makes it ideal for our pay-what-you-can dining model, where contributions support those in need. Here, everyone is welcome to dine with dignity, share stories, and be part of a caring community.

There's Archana our talented Head Chef, Nic the experienced Restaurant Manager, and a whole host of committed volunteers who you might see in the restaurant multiple times a week. Read moreWe’re happy to take bookings for groups of 2 or more, especially if you'd like a private table so you can catch up with friends and whānau. Bookings can be made up until 3pm on the day of service. If you’re a smaller group, feel free to pop in—chances are we’ll seat you right away, and if not, the wait is usually no more than 15 minutes. For groups larger than 12, just reach out to our Onehunga Manager via nic.hm@everybodyeats.nz and we’ll get everything sorted. Note that emails may take a few days to respond to.
